Moxivet plus from Vetafarm provides all round – both internal and external parasite protection in all kinds of birds. It kills and expels internal worms like roundworms, pinworms, tapeworms, hairworms, gizzard worms etc as well as kills external lice, ticks and mites harming the bird. It is a 2 in 1 all-round formula and a very effective wormer. It is very simple in-water treatment via oral route.
Dosage: Dilute MoxiVet Plus with clean drinking water at the appropriate dose rate and supply medicated water for a 24-hour period. Repeat treatment once every 3 months. For best results, treat all aviary birds simultaneously. Usual dosage of mixing is 10ml per litre for large parrots, macaw etc, 5ml per litre for pigeons and medium size birds etc & 2ml per litre for small birds like finches, budgies etc. Individual dosage is 0.25ml concentrated moxivet plus every 500g bodyweight of pigeon/ similar sized bird.
Use as the sole source of drinking water during treatment. Avoid medicating in very hot weather and keep medicated water out of direct sunlight. Formulated by avian experts. 1 single dose provides protection for up to 3 months. If infestation persists, repeat after few days.
Ingredients: Each ml of moxivet plus bird flea tick mite and worm killer contains Praziquantel 18mg, Moxidectin 1mg.
