Prokolin+ aka Pro-kolin+ probiotic paste for gastrointestinal support comes from the house of Protexin and is available in easy to feed syringes of 15ml and 30ml. Not just probiotics, this paste is also enriched with prebiotics, Kaolin to help firm faeces, pectin to soothe gut lining, montmorillonite, fibre in the form of psyllium and also beta-glucans. Ingredients: Contains EU registered Enterococcus faecium (DSM 10663/ NCIMB 10415) 4b1707 2 x 1011 CFU/kg, which helps to keep the level of beneficial bacteria high and exclude pathogenic species. Also contains preplex prebiotic gum Arabic & FOS, soya oil, kaolin, pectin and artificial beef flavoring.
Can be fed directly into the mouth in times of severe diarrhoea or convalescence or mixed with food at other times. Comes with artificial meat flavoring for good palatability. Usual dosage is 2ml/5kg bodyweight in dogs & cats as many times needed per day.
