Vetafarm AIL Avian Insect Liquidator Concentrate, 100ml for birds

Vetafarm Avian Insect liquidator helps kill and expel avian insects like lice, mites and parasites that feed on the blood of affected birds. Avian Insect Liquidator provides instant control of pests on contact with a 6 week residual protection against reinfestation. Avian Insect Liquidator penetrates into the plumage of birds to kill mites and lice under the feathers and skin. 100% safe to use on all ornamental birds and their environments.

This is a concentrate – so this must be diluted with water before applying or spraying.

After dilution, apart from applying directly on the birds, it can also be sprayed on affected environments like cages, nest boxes, perches, aviary floor etc.

Avian lice and mites can cause skin irritation, itchiness, powdery and flaky deposits, incomplete feathering and sometimes scabs. Severe infestation can result in other health issues such as anaemia, reproductive issues and immune system issues.

Avian Insect Liquidator aka AIL was formulated by avian veterinarians to control avian lice (order Phthiraptera, suborder Mallophaga) and mites in ornamental caged birds and their environment. Provides instant knockdown of mites and lice and 6 weeks residual protection of both birds and their environment. This is a very effective external wormer for birds.

Can be used on all kinds of birds suffering from or prone to infestations like budgies, finch, java, parrot, parakeets, macaw, pigeons etc.

Directions of use:-

Dilution must before use.

Prepare a 5% solution by diluting with water (Mix 5ml concentrate in every 100ml water), and shake well. Pour the solution into spray bottle.

Spray the diluted solution directly onto bird.

1)To control Avian mite (Dermanyssus spp, Ornithonyssus spp) and lice (order Mallophaga): Spray directly onto bird by holding spray 30-40cm from the bird.

2) Environment: Spray aviary, perches and nest boxes thoroughly.

Not to be given to birds actively producing meta and eggs for consumption. Spray when away from drinking water and feed.

Ingredients: Each Litre Vetafarm AIL concentrate contains Piperonyl Butoxide 125g, Permethrin (40:60) 25g,  Methoprene 0.4g.
