Taclimus eye and derma ointment for dogs & cats comes from the house of Corise Pharmaceuticals aka Swiss biocare.
While the original taclimus is an eye ointment for dry eye conditions, the taclimus derma ointment is specially formulated for skin or superficial needs. It is usually prescribed as an immunosuppressant in cases of atopic dermatitis, miliary dermatitis, flea allergy dermatitis, suppressing inflammation in wound, fistulas and cutaneous vasculitis. Taclimus helps to stimulate the tear glands and prevent destruction due to KCS.
Ingredients Tacrolimus 0.1 % w/w, Sterile ointment base q.s.
Dosage: Apply a thin layer on the eye or the affected body part twice daily. Safe for application on the face, neck, and groin areas.
Quantity: 5g for the eye ointment and 20g for the derma-skin ointment. The derma version contains much more amount – 20g compared to the eye version – 5g.

I find this useful for dermatits. Be aware that it suppresses the immune system,so use with care.
