Feed supplement for oral route. It contains chitosan that absorbs and expels uremic toxins. Can be used at any stage of CKD.
Calcium carbonate helps bind the extra phosphorus reducing serum phosphate level. To be used when serum creatinine goes beyond 1.4mg/dl in dogs & 1.6mg/dl in cats.
Usual dosage is 1g/5kg body weight in dogs & cats, can be mixed with food.
Ingredients: Lactose, calcium carbonate, chitosan.
