Farmina vetlife canine cardiac dog food is specially formulated for dogs & puppies suffering from chronic cardiac insufficiency.It is a dietetic and complete feed for adult dogs, indicated for the support of cardiac function in case of chronic cardiac insufficiency or chronic heart failure. This ailment has low concentration in sodium and enhanced potassium vs sodium ratio.
The modified Cl / K / Na ratio compensates for electrolyte imbalances due to myocardiopathy and / or drug treatment. Supplementation with taurine helps regulate the contractile function of the myocardium by modulating cellular ion exchange. The addition of L-carnitine affects lipid metabolism and energy availability.
