Intended Use: As a point-of-care diagnostic tool, the Rapid CPV Ag Test Kit is used by pet owners, veterinarians and professionals in the rapid detection of Canine Parvovirus (CPV) antigen in canine fecal samples.
The Test: This is an immunochromatographic assay that qualitatively detects CPV antigen. It provides quick results within 5–10 minutes, aiding in the timely diagnosis and management of CPV infections.
Test Procedure:-
- Collect a fresh Canine faecal sample using the provided swab. (Excessive sample may induce false
positive results, make sure not to take too much sample). - Mix the sample in the buffer solution or diluent provided with the kit/test.
- Apply 3–4 drops to the sample well of the test device.
- Wait for 5–10 minutes and interpret the results. Do not read after 15-20 minutes
Interpretation of Results: Positive: Two lines (control and
test line) appear.
Negative: Only the control line appears.
Invalid: No control line. Retest with a new test strip.
