Vetecto Fluralaner anti-flea tick spot-on topical solution for dogs & puppies comes from the house of VIVALDIS. Fluralaner is an insecticide that works very well when taken orally. Strong enough to clear infestations and much more effective than other topical flea and tick remedies. Helps prevent flea infestation, mites, scabies, tick fever and protects against babesia or haemoprotezoa.
This advanced spot on terminates ticks and fleas that attach to the skin and commence feeding on the dog within 12 hours after contact with ticks and 8 hours for the fleas. Vetecto chewable flea tick tab is available in 4 variants based on the dog’s body weight – Small-breed & puppies(0.9ml), Medium-breed dogs(1.8ml), Large-breed dogs(3.6ml), and extra-large breed dogs(5ml).
Vetecto 0.9ml/1.8ml/3.6ml/5ml spoton is suitable for dogs & pups of body weight 4.5kg – 10kg, 10kg – 20 kg, 20kg – 40kg, 40kg – 56kg, respectively. Provides 6-month protection against fleas and 4-month protection against ticks in 1 application. Can be used on pregnant/ lactating dogs. Not to be used on puppies below 8 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 2kg.
Provides persistent and immediate killing activity for up to 4 months in cases of Ticks: Adult and juvenile Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes scapularis, Dermacentor variabilis and Rhipicephalus sanguineus; Fleas: Ctenocephalides felis & Ctenocephalides canis; Mites: For treatment of demodicosis by Demodex spp., sarcoptic mange and Otodectes spp. mite infestation; provides protection from Babesia canis by Dermacentor reticulatus ticks; control of FAD – flea allergy dermatitis and environmental flea populations.
Directions of use: Apply on a single point on the neck/shoulder top, directly on the skin by moving aside the fur. Hold the pipette upright and break off the cap. Part the pet’s fur until the skin beneath is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze until the pipette is empty. Do not apply to wet skin/fur. Bathe the dog only 48 hours after application. Use one Spot-on per dog. Do not allow treated animals to lick or rub the spot till it dries.

Note: While fluralaner is FDA approved, it may cause side effects in some pets, so use it only under the guidance of a veterinarian in cases of senior dogs or dogs with comorbidities. While it is much more effective than flea tick shampoos, sprays etc, it is rarely seen to cause problems in pets with chronic illness, liver/kidney disorders, sick or aged pets, and dogs with active tick fever. So use only if recommended by vet unless it is for dogs in very healthy/active condition and only has problems of fleas, lice, ticks, mites, etc.
