Spraid Wound Powder 10ml for dogs & cats

Spraid wound powder for dogs & cats comes from the house of Vivaldis. This wound dressing powder contains collagen particles along with Mupirocin and Metronidazole that help promote rapid wound healing and combat infection. Spraid is a unique combination of sterile Type I collagen particles infused with antibiotic mupirocin & metronidazole in powdered form. Collagen provides a structure for new tissue formation, mupirocin is a topical antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by blocking the isoleucyl synthetase enzyme. Metronidazole, another skin antibiotic displays antibacterial action with its active metabolite which interacts with bacterial DNA causing loss of helical structure and strand breakage. Sterilized by gamma irradiation.

Useful in cases of cuts, abrasions, surgical wounds, and infected wounds in dogs, puppies, cats & kittens. Unlike ointments or creams which need to be applied by touching causing uneasy sensations, spraid wound powder can be sprinkled easily and directly on the wound. Can be useful in a veterinary first aid box.

Composition: Sterile Type I Collagen particles with collagen content NLT 90%, Mupirocin IP 2%w/w, Metronidazole IP 1%w/w.

Directions of use: 1) Debride the wound & rinse with saline solution. 2)Sprinkle spraid particles evenly over the wound surface. 3)With a heavily draining wound, cover it with a dressing and change it as necessary. 4) With minimal draining wound, cover with secondary non-absorbent dressing if necessary indicated by the amount of draining and change as needed. 5) If dressing is adhered to the wound during changing, irrigate with saline solution until the dressing loosens and lift gently.
