Pregamyl-forte tablets come from the house of Swiss Biocare(Previously Corise). It contains Pregabalin & Methylcobalamin, which help manage neuropathic (Nerve) pain, muscle cramps & idiopathic epilepsy in dogs & cats. Pregabalin, an inhibitory neurotransmitter (GABA analogue), is superior to Gabapentin in terms of potency and bioavailability.
Composition: Each film-coated bilayered pregamyl forte tablet contains Pregabalin IP 75mg (Sustained-release form), Methylcobalamin 1500mcg.
Dosage: Usual dosage of pregabalin is 4mg per kg bodyweight twice a day in dogs & puppies. Dosage is 1-2mg pregabalin per kg bodyweight twice a day in cats & kittens. Or as prescribed by practicing veterinarian.
