Nexgard Spectra flea tick worm chewable tablet for dogs & cats comes from the house of Boehringer Ingelheim, a renowned pet healthcare company originating from France. NexGard SPECTRA protects against fleas, ticks, mites, heartworms and intestinal worms like tapeworms, roundworms, whipworms etc. In other words, it does the job of both external flea tick chewable tablets as well as internal dewormers.
Dosage: 1tab every month.
While the usual Nexgard tablets contain afoxolaner only and kill external fleas, and ticks, the Nexgard Spectra version contains both afoxolaner and milbemycin thus killing both internal and external parasites. Nexgard Spectra also works good for heartworms Lyme disease, haemo protozoa, Demodex mites, and scabies apart from fleas, ticks, lice and intestinal worms. Afoxolaner in Nexgard Spectra kills internal pests while milbemycin acts on heartworms and internal parasites. Thus Nexgard Spectra offers the most complete protection – broad-spectrum action against parasites than regular Nexgard.
