Corofenam CV tablets come from the house of Swisee Biocare (Previously Corise). Corofenam CV is a next-generation β-Lactam antibiotic designed for chronic to acute infections, offering broad-spectrum coverage against multi-drug-resistant (MDR) bacteria in dogs & cats. It is highly effective in treating urinary tract infections (UTI), upper and lower respiratory tract infections, soft tissue infections, and gynecological infections, with complete coverage against Streptococcus pneumoniae. With its superior efficacy and higher safety profile, Corofenam-CV provides a wide-spectrum action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including aerobes and anaerobes.
It contains the dual power of two powerful bactericidals, namely Faropenem sodium and potassium clavulanate. Usually indicated in cases of UTI, Respiratory tract infections, soft-tissue infections, gynecological infections, Streptococcus pneumoniae infections etc.
Usual dosage is 5-10mg/kg bodyweight twice a day in dogs, puppies, cats and kittens or as prescribed by a practicing veterinarian.
