Bravecto chewable flea tick tablet for dogs & puppies by MSD Animal Health is the most advanced product to protect against tick and fleas, and the effective control of the fleas population in the environment, in the areas to which your dog has access to. It contains fluralaner, which easily kills fleas, ticks, mites, mange and other parasites. Fluralaner is an insecticide that works very well when taken orally. Strong enough to clear infestations, much more effective than topical flea tick remedies. Helps prevent flea infestation, ear mites, scabies, tick fever, and protects against babesia or haemoprotezoa.
It terminates ticks and fleas that attach to the skin and commence feeding on the dog. It works within 12 hours after contact with ticks and 8 hours for the fleas. Bravecto chewable flea tick tab is available in 5 variants based on dog’s body weight.
Bravecto 112.5mg/250mg/500mg/1000mg/1400mg chewable tab is suitable for dogs & pups of current bodyweight 0 – 4.5kg (small puppies), 4.5kg – 10kg (small breed dogs & pups), 10kg – 20 kg (medium breed dogs & puppies), 20kg – 40kg (Large-breed dogs), 40kg – 60kg (Extra large or giant adult dogs) Can be used on pregnant/ lactating dogs. Not to be used on puppies below 6 months age and dogs with pre-existing epilepsy unless specified by veterinarian. Gives 12-week or 3-month protection in just 1 intake.

Note: While bravecto is FDA approved, it may cause side effects in some pets, so use it only under the guidance of a veterinarian. While it is much more effective than flea tick shampoos, sprays etc, it is kind of a controversial product as it is seen to cause problems in pets with chronic illness, liver/kidney disorders, sick or aged pets.
